I didn’t see this coming but it actually makes sense to me.  I think the next big focus has to be Win9
  • Microsoft will no longer continue developing new service packs or adding new features to Windows 7 after Jan. 13, 2015.
  • More than half the world’s PCs run on Windows 7, more than double the number running on Windows XP.
